An imaginative play zone designed for young children is drawing families in New Rochelle.
CloudBound offers hands‑on play areas where kids can explore and parents can join in. General manager Jadon Rivas said the space is built for ages 0 to 6. "We like to say that we are built for kids but designed for parents," he said at the end of his statement.
Rivas said the travel zone is geared toward younger children and features sensory activities. The play space also includes a magic wall and a creative corner for puzzles and art.
Families visiting the space say the size stands out. "There's so many different toys and like types of toys for the kids to play with," said Scott Schellhardt of Yonkers.
CloudBound features a full treehouse with slides, a weather‑themed zone with a ball pit and multiple areas where parents can interact with their children. Staff said the goal is to create shared experiences and connection.
The facility includes nursing rooms, family restrooms and a quiet room for children who may become overstimulated.
Parents said the energy level is high. One said their child went down the big slides "about 15 times today."
Rivas said the team wants families to leave smiling. "It's pretty hard not to be happy here when you're surrounded by kids having a great time," he said.
