A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in New Rochelle Thursday to mark the completion of a new affordable housing development.
The Renaissance at Lincoln Park includes 179 mixed-income apartments and an expanded Boys & Girls Club facility that will provide vital services for the community.
The development features studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, as well as a resident lounge, rooftop deck and fitness center.
"It takes a lot of people saying 'yes' to developments, to funding, to change and just give a lot of credit to all of our elected officials and community leaders, and, of course, our agencies that helped us fund this project," said Jonathon Gertman, vice president of Development NRP Group.
The Renaissance at Lincoln Park is a part of Gov. Kathy Hochul's plan to create 100,000 new affordable homes statewide.
