A reward is being offered to help catch two suspects in connection with a bank robbery in Yonkers.
Police say two men robbed the Webster Bank on Mclean Avenue Yonkers in broad daylight on Monday. They say the pair handed a note to the teller demanding money before fleeing on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.
Investigators tell News 12 they have surveillance video of the robbery, which is the second to occur at the bank in recent weeks.
One of the suspects is described as about 6' tall, wearing gray sweatpants at the time, with a green hoodie and black gloves and mask. The other is about 5'7", and was wearing dark pants, a gray or brown hoodie, white gloves with red grips and a red and black backpack.
Police are offering a $1,500 reward for any information leading to the arrests.
This is the second robbery at this branch in recent weeks, and the fifth one that has happened in Yonkers in less than two weeks. Arrests have been made in three of those bank robberies.
