Over a week after the first of two nor’easters walloped the region, many areas are still littered with fallen trees, debris and downed power lines -- and residents want answers.
Mamaroneck resident Nancy Tumm says she doesn’t want to be in the dark any longer regarding storm cleanup and power outages.
"We have called the governor's office,” she said. “The mayor has been calling, George Latimer has been calling, and no answers."
Residents tell News 12 that a transformer is down in someone’s yard on Washington Street in Mamaroneck, and seems to be leaking hazardous material.
Tumm also says that Con Ed seems to be removing her area from the outage map, though neighbors are continuing to report outages. She says that while workers have come to the area, nothing has been done.
