People living in Mamaroneck are calling on the Board of Trustees to make changes after recent rain caused major flooding.
Residents spoke out at a meeting Monday night.
The village says it's still waiting on FEMA and grant funding to finish projects like the Florence Street drainage project and the floodplain along Ward Avenue.
The Old Post Road drainage improvement project is set to finish at the end of April according to trustees.
Officials also say they are monitoring the water flow to address future problems.
Trustees reminded homeowners that FEMA's Swift Current Acquisition Program is available if needed.
