The wave of freezing temperatures is making life at one Yonkers apartment complex miserable for residents.
Residents at the complex, located on Highland Avenue, tell News 12 that they were told the heat was supposed to be back on Tuesday.

However, they say the building remains without heat for a second week.
Some residents say they had to leave the building and have been staying with family because their apartment is so cold that they can see their breath.
Neighbors say a broken boiler is to blame for the lack of heat.
On Thursday, apartment officials sent a letter stating they would open the community room for residents to take shelter from the cold.
Management has not indicated when the heat will be back on.
