Germonds Pool in West Nyack was the venue for the first-ever Rockland Duck Derby on Saturday, where residents enthusiastically participated in adopting rubber ducks for a charitable cause.
For a fee of $10, residents could adopt a rubber duck and join in the festivities.
The proceeds from the derby were allocated to support Good Samaritan Hospital, Rockland Community Foundation, and United Hospice, making the event a meaningful and enjoyable experience for both participants and beneficiaries.
