Dozens of residents who are demanding that potholes be fixed on one road in Yonkers may have to wait until winter ends.
Residents who live along Bronx River Road in Yonkers on the Mount Vernon border say crater-like potholes are covering the street.
Yonkers DPW Commissioner Tom Meier told News 12 that the potholes will be sanded to temporarily fix the problem, but that it would have to be permanently repaved at a later date.
Repaving could take hours, and the city may not be able to permanently fix the potholes until winter is over.
