Senior residents of the apartment complex Intown Towers in Mount Vernon are complaining about not having enough heat in their homes.
The building's owner told tenants that the building's temperature is regulated to go up after hitting 55 degrees. The City of Mount Vernon requires buildings to be heated above 68 degrees.
News 12 and two residents confronted the building's supervisor, but he did not want to speak on camera.
The supervisor told News 12 that he has turned up the heat and he hopes the tenants sleep well.
