362ds agoThere are reports the FDA is moving quickly to grant full approval to Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine by next month, as cases continue to rise.
About 67% of New Yorkers and 60% of people nationwide 18 and older are fully vaccinated. Over 85% is needed to reach true herd immunity.
The FDA's unofficial deadline for the approval is the Sept. 6, according to the New York Times.
