Oil field and track and of course, Santa was there as well. Let's take another look at our hyper local forecast. The meteorologist Matt Hammer, I think they caught the grinch after his heart enlarged a few extra sizes because he looked to be in a, in a good mood. So, yeah, great, great event there. And we know there are a lot of those types of events over the next couple of weeks to come. Hopefully the weather does pan out well for them. Let's head to the map right now and, and talk about as we go throughout the rest of today and beyond today is fine. It's just mostly cloudy, but you don't have to worry about any rain or snow from those clouds if anything, a Sprinkle in spots. But for the most part into this evening, just mostly cloudy and dry. And we go from a high of around 50 degrees essentially right now down into the lower and middle forties as we go into the evening hours. Now, there will be some partial clearing after around eight or nine o'clock tonight. Well, that will allow us for temperatures to get colder down into the lower and middle thirties and there will still be a little bit of a breeze around overnight and it's tomorrow morning. So it can actually feel like the upper twenties in spots into Tuesday morning. And just like what happened today, we start off with sunshine tomorrow morning, but clouds will win out into the afternoon hours tomorrow and it will just be a much more chilly feel the next three days after today today. Thumbs up weather for sure, not perfect, limited clear sky. In fact, mostly cloudy skies from this point forward until about after eight or nine o'clock tonight. And then temperatures slowly fall back through the thirties overnight. And it will be a morning tomorrow where you want the winter coat, the gloves and the hat again with those early morning temperatures in the low to mid thirties on two tomorrow, early sunshine giving way to more clouds into the afternoon highs in the lower forties tomorrow. So a bit more of a chilly feel slightly below average temperatures compared to a slightly above average temperature day today, even chillier for Wednesday and Thursday right around 40 for both days. This is not as cold as last week, but it's still chilly upper forties on Friday. So temperatures recover Friday into the weekend and Saturday will be the pick of the week, 53 clouds, some hints of sun before more rain possibly on Sunday ahead of a dry start to next week with highs in the 40.

Repair café returns to Rockland County to fix residents' broken items

A repair cafe was back in Rockland County today at the cafe, skilled volunteers are on hand to help you fix your broken items. Nuwe photojournalist, Denzel Walters brings us the sights and sounds. So today you're at Rockland Repair Cafe and it is a group of uh trained volunteers and like some are experts. Some are kind of like garage experts who are fixing items that the community is bringing in. We get folks coming in with all kinds of antiques, things that they are passionate to keep rather than throw out. We take those and we kind of resurrect them. Help give life back to them. Repair cafes have been an amazing movement. It started 10 years ago in New, in the Hudson Valley, but it started originally 2009 in Amsterdam. And it really just keeps spreading because people have had such enthusiasm for it. It saves you money. It also helps keep things out of the landfill. But it's also a really nice community building event, both for the fixers and for the people who come in and the guests. And it's just a really nice event. It's really important to do things like this. For a number of reasons. First off, it builds community. Second of all, it diverts things from the way stream that, you know, people would commonly throw away because there are really no repair stations anymore. Repair, fix the shops anymore. And then it passes on the knowledge of repair, you know, so you see a group of young people here today and they're all assisting and helping out and that while they do that, they learn how to fix things.
