Get ready for cries of "My rent is too damn high" in the Hudson Valley.
Rent is going up for people living in 30,000 rent-controlled apartments in communities throughout Westchester.
The increase applies to leases signed starting Oct. 1.
People with one-year leases will see a 1.5-percent hike while those with two-year leases will see a 2.5-percent increase.
