Mid America Pet Food is voluntarily recalling Victor Super Premium Dog Food, Select Beef Meal and Brown Rice Formula due to potential salmonella contamination.
The recall applies to five-pound, 15-pound, and 40-pound bag sizes. The affected products were sold at major retailers including Walmart, Amazon, Petco, and Petsmart, with a best-by date of June 12, 2024.
While no illnesses have been reported, the Food and Drug Administration advises consumers to destroy the food in a way that children, pets, and other wildlife can't access it, and to wash and sanitize any food bowls and storage containers.
