Rebecca Spierer sat down to speak exclusively with News 12 today more than six months after her sister, Lauren, went missing.
Lauren Spierer disappeared after a night of partying near Indiana University campus in Bloomington, Ind. June 3.
Police do suspect foul play in her disappearance, but say they have no leads as to her whereabouts.
Rebecca Spierer remembers the frantic phone call from Lauren's boyfriend, Jesse Wolff, saying Lauren was missing.
"He just called and told me that Lauren was missing, and I asked him if he felt that it was serious enough to call my parents," Rebecca Spierer recalls. "He said, 'Yes,' and I called my dad."
Reports had surfaced that Lauren Spierer had either been buying or using cocaine prior to her disappearance, but her sister says she knows nothing about any illicit drug use.
Rebecca Spierer, who recently got engaged and is planning a wedding next fall, says she really just wants her sister to be part of it all.
"Feels almost like she never left, feels like she could be coming back any second, when you are in there and she could be walking in any second," she says.
