Tickets for the Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze go on sale Tuesday, Aug. 17.


The popular event at Van Cortlandt Manor in
Croton-on-Hudson is also known as The Blaze. It runs from Sept. 17 until Nov.
21.


The fall favorite features over 7,000 hand-carved jack-o'-lanterns accompanied
by a magical soundscape and synchronized lights.


Last year's event occurred during the pandemic with reduced capacity and show
dates.

And we are on storm watch tonight. It might be a good idea to enjoy some of what's left left of good weather Addison tomorrow, right? Because Sunday going to change a lot. Right. Yeah, definitely gonna be a stark contrast out there. Nikita, Saturday. Great Sunday. Quite the opposite as we deal with a little bit of some storminess to wrap up the weekend. So here's what we got going on a very large area of blood pressure in its cold front will slide up towards the northeast. That's going to allow warmth and moisture to move up ahead of the cold front's arrival. Also getting the chance to squeeze have some batches of rain as the cold front pushes through our region behind the front, colder air will come surging on down with some gusty winds. So we may see some of that ho the holiday light displays in your neighborhood may be impacted from those gusty winds coming through. There is a chance for seeing some pockets of flooding going on in all across the Hudson Valley area of a flood watch up in effect Sunday afternoon through Monday morning as we anticipate seeing about 2 to 3 inches of rain, come on down, wind all is said and done, but you can certainly see some of those calls right there in the red highlighted regions showing you where that three inch potential is possible. So moving through your future cast, we have the wind gusts right here for you. There's a temperature in White Plains. By Sunday morning, we see some gusts very lightly 10 to 15 MPH temperatures in the upper forties. We watch that number move up towards the mid ff as the gusts start to increase come lunchtime getting some brief batches of scattered showers coming through. This will be the case on and off through the afternoon hours as temperatures continue to climb close to 60 degrees right there before five o'clock between about 5 to 8 o'clock or so. We may be seeing a lot of scattered thunderstorms potentially embedded in all that shower activity, producing some brief gusty winds, temperatures very mild for this time of the year as we move on in past midnight, we're watching that cold front push through our region. Look at the arrows coming out of the south right there in White plains coming in out of the north and the west past West Point. So there's a cold front, cold air is delayed coming in behind it. So while you do see that change over occurring towards the north and west, it won't be coming on in for everybody scattered showers still falling on down for Monday morning and then we'll see a brief change over in a few spots, maybe have some flakes mixed on in towards Monday morning's commute as cold air continues to rush on in. You can certainly see Sunday is not gonna be a day, great day to be out. And about Monday that rain change is dropping past the Monday morning commute. We're gonna be seeing the visibility starting to go down through Saturday morning and long 84 Brewster West Point just bear that in mind. All that moisture pushing up this way of a very light to calm wind is going to allow it to settle down towards the surface. That will be the case for Friday night as well as Saturday night. Then here comes that system across our vicinity, temperatures go from near around 6061 degrees dropping about 15 to 20 degrees by Monday. We trend in the forties for next week, but at least we are trending on the dry side.
