Reactor No. 2 at the Indian Point nuclear facility is still offline after a reported power outage Saturday night.
An Entergy spokesperson said several fuel core power rods lost power.
No radioactivity was released into the environment, the company says.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo sent the Department of Public Service to investigate and monitor the situation.
