A group of black New York state parole officers claim they were racially profiled by Ramapo police during a traffic stop in 2014.
The officers say they were doing their job after they got a report about suspicious activity.
The parole officers filed a lawsuit against the town and the officers, but have since dropped some of their legal claims. The town is asking the U.S. District Court judge to dismiss the case as "meritless."
