Ramapo police: Rockland man made terroristic threat to New Square community

Ramapo police and the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force say they investigated a series of social media posts that involved a map highlighting certain neighborhoods with the caption "Zionists live here."

A Rockland County man was arrested and charged with making a terroristic threat to the New Square community.
Ramapo police and the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force say they investigated a series of social media posts that involved a map highlighting certain neighborhoods with the caption "Zionists live here."
The posts also made references to using guns.
Detectives then identified the suspect as a 44-year-old man from Suffern.
Authorities said the suspect was released on an appearance ticket. The individual arrested was not named by police.
