10h agoA 35-year-old man is facing attempted assault and other charges for allegedly holding two women at knife point in Rockland County.
Ramapo police say the suspect held a mother and daughter against their will and locked them in a garage for hours on Wednesday.
Police say he also tried to stab the mother who is his girlfriend.
The woman's daughter knocked the knife out his hand and both women escaped.
The suspect is now formally charged and in Rockland County Jail on $5,000 bail.
