Four teens are now facing charges for an alleged hate crime that took place over the weekend in Monsey.

The suspects, who are not from Ramapo, were arraigned Wednesday morning for allegedly throwing objects at people in the Jewish community. 

All the incidents happened in a 15-minute window, starting at 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

Two women walking on the corner of Rita Avenue and Route 306 were allegedly hit by a BB gun.

Two other women were then hit with eggs while walking a couple of blocks down.

The third incident was captured on surveillance camera. A man walking on West Maple and Blauvelt Road was also hit with an object.

Ramapo police announce the following arrests:

Cody Vascak-Katchmar, 19, of Valley Cottage,

Kristina Fogarty, 19, of Tomkins Cove

An unidentified 18-year-old

An unidentified 17-year-old. 

The teens all face several charges, including second-degree attempted assault as a hate crime, which is a felony.  

The 17-year-old suspect was released to his parents pending a family court appearance, two others made bail, and the 19-year-old suspect from Valley Cottage is said to be at Rockland County jail on $10,000 bail.
