Ramapo police are looking for the vandals who scrawled graffiti about the East Ramapo school board on the roof of an abandoned building.
The building is located next to an exit ramp for the Palisades Parkway in Pomona.
Someone used red spray paint to accuse the East Ramapo School Board of racism and discrimination.
The board is currently immersed in controversy stemming from accusations that the Orthodox Jewish-dominated board has acted to help private religious schools at the expense of the public schools.
Police say the writing has been on the roof for some time, possibly several weeks.
The building is owned by the Adolph Schreiber Hebrew Academy in New City.
