Ramapo incident reports list tickets, charges against Monsey bus drivers who struck kids

Bashinksy was charged and released on an appearance ticket for allegedly driving an unregistered and uninsured bus and driving with a suspended or revoked registration, according to town documents.

Town of Ramapo police incident reports newly obtained by News 12 show a private school bus driver for Avoides Meshleim Feish Inc., Eugene Bashinsky, 45, was arrested at the scene of a crash in March that resulted in a 6-year-old child being struck on West Maple Avenue.
Bashinksy was charged and released on an appearance ticket for allegedly driving an unregistered and uninsured bus and driving with a suspended or revoked registration, according to town documents.
Documents show another driver for United Talmudical Academy of Monsey, Hashy Worch, 54, was ticketed in April for passing a school bus when he allegedly struck another 6-year-old girl who was with her mother.
News 12 is also trying to obtain information from Spring Valley police about two other recent school bus crashes there involving children struck, but they have not returned our repeated calls.
Two school buses were involved in accidents in Blooming Grove last week, according to police. A Monroe-Woodbury School District driver in one incident pulled out in front of another car when the bus was struck with children onboard, according to police who said no one was hurt. News 12 has reached out to the department for additional information on the second crash and is waiting to hear back.
