Scattered showers came through the area Wednesday and are expected to continue through Thursday.
Anyone planning on driving should take it slow because of the strong wind and rain.
Motorists and pedestrians alike are cautioned to look out for wet leaves and puddles, which can cause slippery conditions.
Rain is expected to be heavy Thursday morning and scattered showers will make their way into the area Thursday afternoon.
