Heavy rain flooded streets across parts of the Hudson Valley Wednesday evening, and more severe storms are expected today.
Drivers on North Avenue in downtown New Rochelle pushed through rising water during the evening commute.
Video showed cars struggling to pass through the flooded roadway.
Some residents in Harrison saw little rain, despite the nearby flooding.
The Hutchinson River Parkway in southern Westchester also flooded, slowing traffic.
Mount Vernon reported similar problems, with water covering several streets.
