We are back to roller coaster spring weather across the lower Hudson Valley! While there will be a couple of showers today and again late-Friday through the weekend, the big weather story is the brief warmup to highs potentially in the 70s on Saturday.

Tomorrow will be another nice day with highs in the 50s and a mix of sun and clouds. Most of Friday is nice too and Friday begins the warmup with highs around 60 degrees.

Saturday is the day with significantly warmer weather. As of today, it looks like temperatures will average around 70 degrees! There is a chance that temperatures could even trend a few degrees warmer than that. It will not come with perfect weather, but I do not expect a lot of rain on Saturday. That said, a few spotty light showers are possible with clouds and some breaks of sun.

Sunday will be cooler with a better chance for showers on Sunday and Monday.

Temperatures look to be very up and down over the next 10 days.

FORECAST:

TODAY: Clouds with some breaks of sun. Breezy with a few spotty light showers in the afternoon, but not a washout. A couple of wet snowflakes can mix in with any rain shower. Road conditions will just be wet at times. Highs around 50 degrees.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy, breezy and cold. Wind chills in the 20s into Thursday morning. Actual low temperatures will be near 30 degrees.

THURSDAY: Sun and clouds. Breezy and nice. Highs around 52 degrees. Lows near 35 degrees. There can be a brief mixed shower overnight.

FRIDAY: Sun gives way to increasing clouds in the afternoon. Scattered rain showers arrive at night. Highs around 60 degrees. Lows near 46 degrees.

SATURDAY: Clouds, some breaks of sun and trending warmer! Highs around 70 degrees. Record high: 79 degrees set back in 1998. A few spotty showers are possible throughout the day, but it should not be a washout. Lows near 43 degrees.

SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers possible. Highs around 56 degrees. Lows near 47 degrees.

MONDAY: Mostly cloudy with showers still likely. Highs around 63 degrees. Lows near 40 degrees.

TUESDAY: Sun and clouds. Highs around 53 degrees. There is a slight chance for a few showers. Lows near 33 degrees.
