Students at SUNY Purchase College say raccoons have invaded their campus.
Pictures show the raccoons traipsing through the woods near dorms and hiding out in sewers.
Many of the raccoons have been spotted scavenging for food near garbage.
University Police Chief Dayton Tucker says there have been some complaints, but that it's typical around this time of year.
Two-thirds of the 550-acre campus is made up of wooded areas.
Police are telling students to secure their garbage. They add that if the campus critters continue coming back, authorities will trap and release them in the wild.
