A Queens man accused of running an unauthorized dental operation in White Plains has pleaded guilty to several charges.
Cesar Masso, 79, was facing unauthorized practice of a profession and assault charges, as confirmed by the Westchester District Attorney's Office.
Authorities apprehended Masso in March 2022 after discovering the illegal business he had established on Grand Street. He conducted various dental procedures, including extractions and X-rays.
Under the terms of his plea deal, Masso is obliged to compensate his victims with approximately $165,000 in restitution. Additionally, he will undergo one year of interim probation, effective immediately after entering his plea.
Following the successful fulfillment of the probation period, Masso will have the opportunity to withdraw his felony plea. Subsequently, he is slated for sentencing in November, where he faces an additional two years of probation for the misdemeanor assault charge.
