School officials in Theills have gone the extra mile so that a disabled teacher could return to teaching.
A surfing accident in 2013 left North Rockland High School teacher Bill Keenan a quadriplegic.
With the help of a teaching assistant and adaptive technology, the Army veteran, athlete and musician now teaches a full day of classes at the high school.
The school year ends in a few days, but Keenan says he will be back in the fall, and for as long as he can.
