NFL quarterback Peyton Manning has hired a lawyer from Pound Ridge after reports that he used human growth hormone to recover from an injury.
Manning, who has been sidelined with a foot injury in recent weeks, was named in an Al Jazeera article that claimed he used the hormone after his neck surgery in 2011.
The Denver Broncos quarterback has denied those claims and hired Ari Fleischer to help his case.
Fleischer was also White House press secretary from 2001 until 2003.
Manning is the NFL's all-time leader in career touchdown passes and passing yards.
