A Putnam County man died in an apparent skiing accident in Stowe, Vermont.
Stowe police say 27-year-old Brooks Ralph, from Cold Spring, was reported missing from the Stowe Mountain Resort around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Stowe mountain rescuers conducted a five-hour search before he was found dead in an area outside of resort boundaries in a steep, wooded area.
Preliminary investigation indicates this was an accidental death, but the incident is still under investigation.
