Dozens of people on Thursday protested against Ramapo Town Supervisor Christopher St. Lawrence outside the Rockland Boulders opener at Palisades Credit Union Park.
Residents were outside the venue because St. Lawrence is facing federal charges tied to the financing of the stadium. He was indicted last month and is due back in court in July.
Many residents say St. Lawrence shouldn't be running the Town of Ramapo. They say their requests for his resignation seem to be falling on deaf ears.
The Rockland Boulders are not implicated in those charges. The team wound up losing to the Sussex Minors 4-2.
