Prosecutor: Maryland man charged in deadly crash following armed robbery

Franklin Hunter was charged with aggravated manslaughter, vehicular homicide and other charges.

A Maryland man has been charged in a fatal crash in South Brunswick.
The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office says Franklin Hunter was leaving the scene of an armed robbery on Dec. 22, 2022, when he crashed into three other vehicles. Hunter was allegedly driving a stolen Dodge Charger at the time. A passenger in Hunter’s car was found dead following the crash.
Hunter was charged with aggravated manslaughter, vehicular homicide and other charges. He is currently being held in Washington D.C. on unrelated charges.
