A program was created at a Bronxville hospital to help nurses de-stress amid the pandemic.
Walking by the Bronx River is one way how nurses at New York-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville are de-stressing.
The hospital received the Hudson Valley's first COVID-19 patient and even lost some of its own while treating the most critical.
It's a reason hospital leaders created the program so nurses can make time for their own self-care.
Along with walking to de-stress, there is also a growing knitting club. For nurses week, the hospital is offering games on the hospitals lawn.
