President Donald Trump will sign the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund bill into law at a ceremony at the White House today.

The bill would extend through 2092 a fund created after the 2001 terrorist attacks, essentially making it permanent.

The House approved it earlier this month while the Senate voted 97-2 to give it final legislative approval on Tuesday.

The bill is named in honor of three first responders who died after 9/11.

Victims' advocate and first responder John Feal says he has provided a list of names to the White House of 38 people to invite to the ceremony.
