An interfaith prayer service was held in Tarrytown on Monday to honor those lost in the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy.
The names of all of the young victims killed were read aloud as people gathered in prayer at the Christ Episcopal Church on South Broadway.
Three years after the shooting, many in the Hudson Valley feel that the United States is headed in the wrong direction when it comes to gun violence.
Those who attended the service vowed to continue appealing to members of Congress to get tougher gun laws passed nationwide.
