It is a big day for New Jersey Powerball players as the jackpot is over $1 billion. It is the 11th largest payout in Powerball history.

The regulars at Country Farms Food Market in Fords say they are feeling good about Monday night’s drawing. There is a lot of money on the line, so they are choosing their numbers carefully. The jackpot cash payout will be $438.3 million.

The last time someone took home the jackpot was on New Year's Day in Michigan. Three tickets came close, winning $50,000 each in this past Saturday's drawing.

One customer tells News 12 New Jersey that he has had some pretty big wins in the past. He attributes it to his good luck charms.

"Some of us that come here, we meet each other sometimes and we see each other every once in a while, and all of a sudden, boom, one of us wins something,” says Charlie Q. “It's pretty good. We're always each other's lucky charms. It's pretty great."

Charlie says he did meet up with his lottery friends to buy the ticket, so he feels pretty good about his odds.
