The Town of Yorktown in northern Westchester will hold a special election on Tuesday, April 16 to fill the vacant town supervisor position left by the death of former supervisor Tom Diana.
Diana died just five days into his first full term at town supervisor after serving a full year as acting town supervisor once now Assemblyman Matt Slater was elected to the state Legislature.
Former Deputy Town Supervisor Ed Lachterman has been serving as the acting town supervisor since Diana's death.
Jonathan Gordon spoke with Lachterman and his Democratic challenger Jann Mirchandani on this week’s Power & Politics.
