The future of New York’s congressional district lines has become clearer now that the independent board tasked with drawing the map approved it and sent it to the state legislator for adoption.
The redistricting process has been closely watched since Republicans flipped several house seats two years ago.
The approved map resembles the one that was drawn by a special master two years ago and used in the 2022 midterm election.
