Westchester District Attorney Mimi Rocah's time as the county's lead prosecutor has ended. The outgoing DA is stepping down after not seeking reelection.

Progressive changes with a focus on victims advocacy, criminal justice reform and public service accountability marked her four years.

"Being vigorous when it comes to public safety, especially with respect to violent crimes, hate crimes and public integrity, but also balancing that more clearly with fairness," she said.

Rocah sat down with News 12 for a wide-ranging exit interview that got into her accomplishments, her decision not to seek reelection and whether she's planning a return to elected office in the near future.
