1-on-1 with the Westchester district attorney

This week, Westchester District Attorney Susan Cacace sat down with News 12 Senior Reporter Tara Rosenblum to discuss her first two months in office, her vision for the future and her priorities as the county's top law enforcement official.

She spoke about how her years serving as a judge will give her a fresh perspective as DA.

"As a judge, you have to be impartial; you have to be fair, and I think as a district attorney, you're required to do the same. You have to treat everyone the same way, be fair, and be honest and truthful."

Congestion pricing

A battle is in full effect between the White House and New York over the future of congestion pricing.

President Donald Trump's administration revoked the program's approval earlier this week before the Metropolitan Transportation Authority immediately filed a lawsuit to keep it in place.

Rep. Mike Lawler, a staunch opponent of the program, applauded Trump's decision and hoped the courts follow through.
