Many Westchester residents who woke up without power Saturday due to the remnants of Debby hitting the area had their power restored by the afternoon.
Officials say the bulk of the outages were centered in Eastchester, Scarsdale and White Plains.
Most of them were caused by strong winds that downed trees, crushed cars and pulled down wires.
Over 1,000 people near White Plains were without power during the morning, but all impacted customers had their power restored by the afternoon, according to Con Edison.
Officials say more than 600 residents were also powerless around the New Rochelle area. By the afternoon, Con Edison reported one partial outage.
