Congress is supposed to be on a break until the rest of the year, but there is still work to be done. The Senate recently voted to allow Congress to raise the debt ceiling with a simple majority vote. Also, the Build Back Better Bill has now passed the House but is still awaiting action in the Senate, where the future of the bill is uncertain. In addition, Democrats can celebrate that Biden's Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill is now signed into law.
