Poughkeepsie is searching for someone to run their business out of a facility at the city's most active waterfront park.

The city officially put out a request for proposal for the Ice House at Waryas Park which attracts more than 600,000 visitors each year.

It had been leased for commercial use in the early 2000s and eventually became a full-scale restaurant in 2012 with several different owners operating there over the last decade.

The deadline to submit a proposal is Nov. 6.
