Poughkeepsie police say that five people were injured in shootings within six hours of each other overnight into Friday.
Police Chief Thomas Pape tells News 12 that eight calls came in from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. and that the two suspects were arrested on separate occasions for illegally possessing guns.
Police say shots were fired and when officers arrived, all that was found were shell casings.
Hospitals later alerted police they were treating gunshot victims. Police say of the five victims, some were on a private bus that had been driving through the city after leaving Revel 32.
They say some victims are from Albany and the others were from Poughkeepsie - but they, as well as others, are not cooperating in the investigation.
Police haven't confirmed if the incidents are connected.
Revel 32 tells News 12 there was a private event being held for a 22-year-old man and that none of the violent incidents happened at the venue.
