yesterdayA Poughkeepsie man is facing charges in connection with illegal drug sales in the city.
The Dutchess County Drug Task Force says an investigation into drug sales and recent overdoses on Smith Street led to the arrest of Kevon Witter.
Authorities say a search warrant for 47 Smith St. resulted in multiple people being detained. They say some of the individuals had arrest warrants in Pennsylvania, New York City and the town of Poughkeepsie.
Witter is set to be arraigned in the city of Poughkeepsie court.
