Poughkeepsie community comes together to provide Thanksgiving meals to those in need

Dozens of volunteers gathered at the Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory on Thanksgiving Day to prepare and distribute meals to those in need.

The effort, which has been ongoing for over five decades, is being led by Frank Flowers, who announced that around 1,900 meals would be donated this Thanksgiving.

Flowers emphasized the importance of continuing the drive year after year, saying it has helped him realize his purpose in life is to help others.
