Neighbors of  "John To Go" say living near the West Haverstraw port-a-potty business stinks - literally.
They say the area smells like feces and claim the company is dumping human waste in their backyards.
Neighbors allege the company is disposing of waste and cleaning out portable toilets on-site - near their homes on Carol Avenue.
Village Mayor Robert D'Amelio says the company is only allowed to make and sell port-a-potties there, not clean them.  As a result, he says the company has nearly a dozen violations and is being evicted in court.
"Our residents are living through a nightmare. We are aware and are doing everything we can,” says D’Amelio.

The company will face a village judge next month. News 12’s requests to them for comment have not been returned.
Rockland County officials say a health inspector was on site Tuesday and issued several sanitary code violations. It says the company faces fines of $2,000 a day if not corrected.
