A Port Jervis father who smothered his baby son was sentenced today.
Brett Kanoff pleaded guilty in April to suffocating his 1-year-old son Cameron with a blanket in September 2012.
He was given four to 12 years behind bars in state prison this morning in Orange County Court.
Kanoff originally faced 25 years to life.
