More than two years after Hurricane Ida, federal funding is on the way for Port Chester.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand announced Tuesday the village will get over $1.2 million in reimbursements for road repairs.

The storm caused big damage to the village's roads and sidewalks.

The money from FEMA will reimburse Port Chester for work done on Glen Avenue.

Gillibrand says she will keep fighting for funding to help other municipalities respond to natural disasters across the state.
