A 20-year-old Port Chester man caught the ball of home run No. 60 from outfielder Aaron Judge Tuesday.

Michael Kessler said it was a last-minute decision for him to go to the game at Yankee Stadium against the Pirates.

The decision to go ended up in him securing the ball that put Judge one away from the American League record of 61 home runs in a season.

Kessler has some experience. He played ball for Port Chester High school and now he's on the team at City College.

The ball he caught, collectors say, could go for half a million dollars. But Kessler chose not to keep it.

Instead, he gave it back to Judge.

"I knew the importance of it, the significance of the moment. Diehard Yankee fan. I was like, 'God forbid if I caught it.' I knew I wanted to give it to Judge," Kessler said.

Kessler said he still got something in return. He got to meet Judge, take a photo with him, get a signed bat and some balls as well as game tickets.
